Lunch Bunch
How Lunch Bunch Works
Lunch Bunches are the perfect place for getting to know your fellow LeTip members better. The goal is for small groups of 5-7 members to meet informally and strengthen their relationships with each other. We won’t lie and say the food and drink doesn’t help! Groups are led by volunteer “Captains” who set up the meetings and make them happen.
- Lunch Bunch meetings work best when members attend the lunch meeting they have been assigned to. Can’t make that particular one? Contact your Lunch Bunch Captain, let them know you can’t make it, and then contact another Captain to join their group. But remember, you need to attend one of them!
- Each Lunch Bunch Captain chooses that date and location for their meeting, and especially the tone! Lunch Bunches can be lunch, cocktails, happy hour, coffee, dinner, whatever works for the Captain and the group.
- Captains should schedule their get-togethers at least 2 weeks prior so everyone has enough lead time. And then, they should send out an email reminder closer to the date
- While participation is a requirement of LeTip membership, if you can’t make it and you contact your Captain at least an hour prior to your meeting, you’re good. Miss the meeting and don’t tell the Captain, and an incentive penalty will be assessed.
